Can drapery be layered with shades?
Yes, and it is our most requested combination. A sheer drapery layer softens daylight while a concealed roller provides privacy or blackout.
Do tracks have to be recessed?
No. Recessed pockets give the cleanest look in renovations and new construction, but surface mounted tracks in a matching finish work in finished rooms.
Can drapery be motorized?
Yes. Motorized tracks integrate with the same systems as our shades, including Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, Lutron, and Control4.
How do I choose fabric?
We pre-select options from the Carole Fabrics library based on your room, exposure, and goals, then review physical samples with you at the consultation.
